avian/wild: predators; skin thick/scaled like birdfeet all over, vaned flaps along the flanks (rib extensions, but cartilaginous) that are feathered brilliantly and flap/flare in attack/emotional displays; very long and bendy limbs, lean and taut, but a small compact torso; qualifies as a biped but usually moves on all fours, stands on two; arboreal and brachiating; very loud and aggressive things; birdclaws; opposable thumbs (three fingers, one thumb on hands, three fingers two thumbs on feet); longish thin prehensile tail (ratlike, almost, without the fur); faces and bills like woodpeckers; very stringy and lean and bundled and like tree branches
