World: Racamarai

Name: Racamarai [RA-sah-MARR-ay]

Indigenous Sentients: Unknown.

Ruling Faction(s)/Nation(s): None.

Other Factions/Nations: None.

Description: Racamarai is a primitive, uncivilized world, more water than land, in about a 70/30 ratio, and boasts no settlements nor handmade landmarks. Its only notable quality to set it apart from any other world early in its evolution is that most species of beast and fish go beyond the typical gender binary - many creatures have one hermaphroditic or asexual gender, and many others have three or four genders, while only a few have the usual male/female polarization. There is also a notable tendency towards dual-brained creatures - animals with two heads or an otherwise fused dual system.

Magic: Racamarai is quite low in magic, though not entirely dry. It is a neutral energy, as is true of most worlds, and primarily concentrated in nature-based events with power, like storms, waterfalls, volcanoes, etc. Any outside magician would find it difficult to perform all but the easiest and lightest of spells.

Technology: Racamarai has no technology whatsoever.

Solar System: Racamarai is part of the sun system known as Ancaza, one of three worlds. Only one of the worlds is slightly technological - the other two are, essentially, primitive. Ancaza is in a corner of the universe that is rarely visited, except by scholars wishing to study the bardic magic of Vyza or the Bondeds of Antra.

Galactic Location: Three and a half months from the Source of Light, five and a half months from Gurhai, eight and a half months from Airdh, and three months from both Do'agnun and Ationa.

Intersun Trading: Racamarai does not engage in intersun trading and sees no visitors. Halasshi explored the planet once, then left, even removing the temporary intersun dock they'd built in order to land.
